Otano
One of the Best Quality Restaurants in Pamplona
There are lots of fantastic restaurants and pinxo bars on Calle San Nicholas in Pamplona old town. One of the best is Otano.
With an informal pinxo bar on the ground floor and a more sophisticated sit down restaurant upstairs with a bright and spacious dining area.
“the quality of the food”
Upstairs, the set-menu meal consists of three courses and a drink for around 20 euros. This is a very good deal considering the quality of the food and options available, like the Russian salad (pictured above) or mushroom ravioli (pictured below) for starters.
Main courses include dishes such as lasagne, grilled squid, hamburgers and many more.
“1kg chuleton steak”
A 300g steak is also included in the menu deal. For a €4 supplement you can have roast lamb or for an extra €9 you can get a huge 1kg chuleton steak for two.
Not only does this establishment have the pinxo bar and the more formal restaurant above, they also offer accomodation right in the centre of Pamplona.
There’s also a good selection of desserts, that are also included in the menu deal. Like the milhojas de piña (pictured above), which is a sort of deconstructed pinapple crème brûlée with coconut ice-cream.
