A MICHELIN Starred Pincho Bar

Sandwiched between the traditional Pincho bars on San Nicholas street in the heart of Pamplona, Baserriberri is anything but tradtional. Since 2016 they have been pushing the boundries of modern tapas, which has earned them a MICHELIN star.

There’s a tasting menu called ‘7 steps around the world’, which at €45 is pretty good value, or you can just order a la carte

“Inspiration comes from around the world”

Inspiration comes from around the world. Simple dishes like the hotdog, but with local produce and flavours.

Traditional tapas like croquetas are on the menu, but these are filled with the delicious chuleton steak meat, made so famous here in Pamplona.

Prices at a MICHELIN starred Pincho bar

Prices are reasonable and this is certainly not a MICHELIN starred restaurant that will break the bank. Pinchos, like the interestingly named “squid ping pong show – Thai style” start from €3.50.

“The vibe is casual”

The vibe is casual, with a more traditional tapas bar feel at the front with bar stools, and a couple of seats outside. Passed the bar at the back is the sit down dining area.

Baserriberri Burger

The burger comes with fries shaped like churros (the Spanish fried dough used to dip into chocolate sauce). The truffle used in the fries is very strong though, so if you’re not a fan, this might not be for you. Also, the burger came pretty rare, so if you like it well done, make sure to tell them “muy echa”.

Another dish from around the world that has been given a Basarriberri flavour is the Mexican lamb tacos and spicy sauce. They’re delicious!

In conclusion, Basarriberri is a tapas bar pushing the boundries, creative and adding flavours from around the world!
