The Best Nachos in Barcelona
It’s unlikely you’ll find better nachos in Barcelona than here.
This little family run Mexican restaurant is hidden away in the residential outskirts of the city. At the far end of Sants.
Not somewhere usually frequented by tourists, but the trip is worth it if you want really authentic Mexican food.
House Nachos - The Best in Barcelona
The house nachos of shredded chicken, beef, guacamole, tomatoes and onions, covered in cheese are far superior to any others I’ve ever tried. In Barcelona, Mexico or anywhere else!
Not much to look at from the outside, so you’d be forgiven for not noticing the entrance. But, it’s beautifully decorated inside with a theme of the Mexican artist, Freda Kahlo, running through out.
More than just nachos
There’s a full Mexican menu. For example, there’s burritos, quesadillas, fajitas and many other house specials, like chilli con carne. Also, a nice selection of tacos as well. The pork and pineapple taco is particularly good.
It’s very popular among the Mexican community in Barcelona. And with locals as well. Even though a new seating area has been added at the back, you’ll still need to make a reservation to guarantee a table. There’s exciting choices for dessert too. Like the tequila sorbet or spicy chilli chocolate ice-cream.
Graciela, the owner, is a wonderful cook and creates her own spicy sauces.
In addition, it’s evident that a lot of care is put into every dish that arrives at your table.
In summary, there may not be a lot of sightseeing in the area. However, there is a great little Mexican restaurant with good service and really authentic home cooked food.
