Raval, to one side of Las Ramblas, used to have a bit of a reputation as a rougher part of town. It’s cleaned up a lot over recent years, but still has an edge. And, it’s where you’ll find some of the coolest bars in Barcelona. We’ve created a list of the top 5 bars in Raval.
1. Betty Ford's

A bar with legendary status among those that frequent the Raval area of Barcelona. A place you can get a proper pint, cocktails in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Situated on Joaquin Costa, a great street for a bar crawl. They also do insanely good burgers and curry Fridays.
2. Two Schmucks
Adrress: C/ de Joaquín Costa, 52
Two Schmucks is run by two friends from Sweden, and reached no.26 in The Worlds 50 Best Bars 2020. Often referred to as one of the coolest bars in Barcelona, it’s a dive-bar with class. Quality cocktails in a fun and relaxed environment.
3. Carnal Cocktail Bar
Adrress: C/ de Joaquín Costa, 12
A modern bar with a chilled vibe, friendly staff and delicious cocktails. They have a sister cocktail bar, which is just as great, called Porteño in the Gothic neighbourhood.
4. Fat Schmucks
Adrress: Plaça d’Emili Vendrell
A great corner location in the heart of Raval, this all day venue is the brainchild of the owners of Two Schmucks, just up the road. It has a large outside seating area and a chic interior. Lot’s of food and drink options.
5. Kino
Adrress: C/ de Ferlandina, 23
This bar and restaurant has a street side terrace next to the MACBA museum. Burgers, tapas and more are on the food menu, but it’s also a great place to grab a cocktail or beer with friends and watch the world go by.
